Who we are


To continue to support the ideals and beliefs of the pioneers of the cooperative financial organisations who sought to bring about positive human and social development by helping to alleviate domestic and international poverty.


The Australian Mutuals Foundation (AMF) was created by Select Credit Union Ltd and Encompass Credit Union Ltd following their merger on 1 July 2016.

The AMF is a registered company limited by guarantee. It is also a registered charity which has received deductible gift recipient status from the Australian Tax Office, allowing tax deductible donations from corporate or individual donors.

To manage and oversee the work of the AMF, a manager and three directors have been appointed.

All directors have been assessed as fit and proper and have extensive experience in the mutual financial services industry and two have prior experience working with charitable organisations.
